Daksh Tyagi, Hardware / Outreach

Daksh Tyagi

Daksh is a founding member of Circuit Overload and a freshman at Stevenson High School with a strong passion for engineering, technology, and problem solving. He helps lead the team's hardware development by researching and sourcing robot components, designing parts in CAD, managing 3D printing, and documenting the engineering design process in the team's engineering notebook. Drawing on experience in competitive STEM, public speaking, and community initiatives — science fairs, Model UN, online tutoring, and local volunteering — he also helps oversee project management and outreach. Notable achievements include top paper and gold medal recognition at both IJAS regional and state expositions for his Waste Classifier research project, and a 5th-in-the-nation Model UN finish at the 2026 IAC National Championships. Outside of robotics, Daksh enjoys basketball and table tennis while exploring new ways to combine engineering and AI to solve real-world challenges.

Ishaan Chilamakuri

Ishaan Chilamakuri is a current freshman at Stevenson High School and a founding member of Circuit Overload, based in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Ishaan brings a strong hardware and technical foundation to the team, built through years of competitive STEM experience. He competed on his FIRST LEGO League team for three consecutive years, qualifying for the Illinois state championship each season. He also competed with the Daniel Wright Science Olympiad team (Division B), where he qualified for nationals in both Circuit Lab, an event focused on circuits and electronics, and Scrambler, an engineering-based event. On Circuit Overload, Ishaan focuses on the hands-on engineering side of the robot: designing, CADing, and building the robot while also helping with the software and code of the robot. Outside of the classroom and the workshop, Ishaan stays active playing basketball and football, where he's learned the same teamwork and discipline he brings to the robotics team.

Chetan Murukuti

Chetan is an 8th grader at Daniel Wright Junior High and a big fan of hands-on engineering. He got his start in FIRST LEGO League and now helps lead the team's hardware side by building the physical robot and troubleshooting mechanical problems. Robotics has sharpened his skills with tools, design, and repair. When he isn't working on the robot, Chetan plays soccer and basketball.

Rohan Uppalapati

Rohan is an 8th grader at Daniel Wright Junior High. He got into STEM because he wanted to build the kinds of gadgets he saw in movies. On the team, he contributes across software and hardware, and he's built his skills through coding classes, LEGO robotics, and coding his own game. He's currently learning Java and JavaScript. Outside the team, Rohan can be found playing football or basketball with his friends.

Advik Saxena

Advik is a 9th grader at Stevenson High School who discovered his passion for STEM in 6th grade after building model cars in a school club, sparking a love for hands-on problem solving. On the robotics team, he primarily contributes through CAD modeling and software development. Outside team activities, he sharpens his programming skills with practical projects — including a home server that powers an automated grocery ordering system. He also competed in a PerfectCorp hackathon and received second place with a $1,000 prize by building an ai powered stylist iOS app. When he isn't coding or designing, Advik enjoys soccer.

Abhigyan Amit

Abhigyan is a sophomore at Stevenson High School and runs software operations as an experienced high school developer from the Buffalo Grove area. He enjoys building software that solves real-world problems, leading the team's programming by developing reliable autonomous routines for the 30-second autonomous period and ensuring smooth, responsive driver control throughout FTC matches. He thrives on complex technical challenges — testing, refining, and optimizing code to create dependable systems that perform consistently under pressure. Beyond robotics, Abhigyan is a two-time Global Finalist in 3iii (International Indian Icon), competed in the Solaris Hackathon, and qualified for the Science Bee National Championship — experiences that sharpened his analytical thinking, teamwork, and ability to excel in high-pressure environments.

Rudra Chatterjee

Rudra is a freshman at Stevenson High School. He was introduced to STEM in fifth grade by competing in a FIRST LEGO League team. He contributes the most in software and CADding. He knows the coding languages Python and Java and he is learning to CAD. He loves playing basketball as a hobby.
